›› We get news from Kangchenjunga. Before yesterday, they left the base camp 3, and to reach the base camp of this peak 4, Oscar Cadiach had to desist from the attack on the top and back.

At a geographic level, the Chulus mountains are 4 peaks dividen into two sectors, the west and the east. From a technical level, the ascent is considered as PD+ (Poc Difícil+, Little Difficult), ascent with snow with some short rock of III, in the lowest part.

›› The day 31st March de 2007, I left Barcelona with the Expedition: "Tarragona-Laudio-Lumbier al Kangchenjunga" doing an aclimation till the Everest Base Campeuna and reaching some peaks, one of these the Island Peak of 6.189 m. We were 18 people, two mountian guides among us: Òscar Cadiach and Iñigo de Pineda.
